Used industrial equipment, priced and handled by dealers who understand its true value.

Courtland Machine Group puts committed capital and deep market reach behind every transaction — tool and die, grinding, die casting, and the full production floor — so sellers get a real number and buyers get the right machine.

Who we are

Courtland Machine Group is named for what it does, not for where it came from or how long it has existed. The business is built around a single operating discipline: knowing what used industrial equipment is genuinely worth, then acting on that knowledge with committed capital and a buyer network that is always engaged. That combination — honest valuation and real market reach — is what separates a working dealer from a listing service, and it shapes every decision made here. The categories we cover run from tool and die toolrooms and precision grinding departments to die cast cells, injection molding floors, Swiss turning operations, EDM shops, CNC machining centers, fabrication lines, stamping operations, extrusion and thermoforming departments, rotational mold facilities, rubber and silicone processing lines, blow mold equipment, automation and auxiliary systems, and complete mold and tooling inventories. The breadth is intentional — a dealer who handles one category well but refers out everything adjacent is not actually useful when a production floor needs to move. Courtland works with manufacturers clearing surplus, plants in transition, lenders managing collateral, and buyers who need a specific asset at a number they can defend. The same standard applies regardless of which side of the transaction you are on: no inflated appraisals, no contingency-dependent offers, no advice shaped by what is convenient for the desk rather than what is right for the client.

What we do

Courtland Machine Group operates as a working dealer — capital committed, positions taken, and decisions made by people who trade this equipment every day. The work spans every category on the production floor: tool and die rooms, precision grinding cells, die cast lines, injection molding presses, Swiss turning centers, EDM departments, CNC machining operations, fabrication equipment, metal stamping lines, blow mold systems, extruders and extrusion configurations, thermoforming cells, rotational mold machinery, rubber and silicone processing lines, automation and auxiliary systems, and complete mold inventories and product line tooling. Nothing on a manufacturing floor falls outside what we buy, sell, and move. The most direct path to a closed deal is an outright purchase — Courtland writes the check, takes the equipment, and removes any dependency on a buyer who has not yet materialized. For sellers whose timeline allows more optionality, we structure and manage consignment arrangements that place machinery directly in front of vetted buyers across North America and a live global network. When a plant closure, restructuring, or estate situation demands a defined end date and maximum recovery in a single event, we organize and run auctions and managed liquidations with the transaction discipline those situations require. Valuations and appraisals are woven into every engagement — not as an administrative formality, but as the documented foundation that every disposition decision is built on. We produce fair market, orderly liquidation, and forced sale figures that hold up in front of lenders, legal counsel, and negotiating tables. On the acquisition side, we source specific equipment for manufacturers who need a defined capability at a defensible number — hunting the market, qualifying each machine, and negotiating on the buyer's behalf so capital lands on the right iron rather than the nearest available unit. When a transaction extends beyond a line item or a department, Courtland Machine Group handles complete business sales and full turnkey facility exits. We manage those engagements as a single coordinated transaction. The contracts, real estate, and M&E are addressed together — one accountable party from opening assessment through final close, so sellers are not left managing three separate processes pulling in different directions.
